ASI GRANTS
ASI has two main parts. We are the Elected representatives of the student body to those of higher power, such as the current President of the school, and we are the financial side of Clubs and Organizations. Every year ASI votes in a budget and approves funding for the various activities Clubs and Organizations send in requests for. If you are interested in starting a club or are taking over a club the Business Office is where you will find out how much is in your club account, what grants are available to help fund your activities, and the various forms that must be submitted for various tasks. For more information on what the Business office can do for your Club and Organization please visit the “Business Office” link below.

Dogs for Democracy
Dogs for Democracy is what ASI references when talking about country wide voting. It is how we promote the idea that every student on campus has a voice and opportunity to be part of the larger system.
Dogs for Democracy promotes things like voting. Learning about the system, how state and country operate and getting involved.
Voting. Every day is a new day and this includes the political climate. Linked below is the California website to register to vote. If you are not registered to vote currently ASI encourages you to do so. Be Bold, Be Brave. Have a voice.

Resource Guide
Reference Guide
Also called the Student Reference Sheet, this is a guide for students to use to help them learn and find the various resources available to them on campus. For this purpose ASI worked to gather many campus resources in one place. Included in the downloadable sheet are methods of contacting the various organizations with brief descriptions of what each do. Not all of these locations are open at this time due to Covid. Please visit the Fresno State website for their list of campus organizations that are currently operational.
Student Bill of Rights
The Student Bill of Rights serves as a resource for students to become aware of the expectation the University has set for the classroom. It serves as an avenue for them to voice their concern with the support of a Student Senator. Just as the University has expectations of students, the University also has expectations for faculty. This is done through the Universities Academic Policy Manual (APM) which all faculty must adhere to.
Below there are two links. The first is a summary of students’ rights that ASI believes are pertinent to student success. The second is a link to a form you can submit if you believe your rights were infringed by a faculty member. This provides a louder voice for students while helping expand accountability on our campus. Help us grow as a university by ensuring your rights are protected.
